The digger/pole-layer P65/S has been designed and built for service to the utility industry. It is intended to be a multipurpose unit that can accommodate components that dig holes with auger and bucket, carry and set poles, position material at the workstation.
This unit is provided with lower and intermediate articulating boom and telescoping upper boom which extends from and retracts into the intermediate boom. The control station with operator’s seat is located between driver’s seat and turntable and is stationary respect to the boom. The rotation is 370º non-continuous by rack and 2 single acting cylinders. The digging radius and horizontal reach can reach respectively 4,30 m and 5,90 m from C/L of rotation. The capacity and lifting height (measured from the hook to ground) can reach respectively 3,40 T and 7,20 m.
